Kangana Ranaut responds to Sonam Kapoor being made fun of for her English in an old Koffee With Karan clip.
Kangana Ranaut is well known for speaking her mind and for making fun of Karan Johar. On his talk program Koffee With Karan, she once made fun of the director, labeling him the poster child for nepotism. Her struggle with the movie mob never ends. She has now responded to Sonam Kapoor and Karan Johar's jab at her English fluency. She sees her path and where she is currently now as a proud moment where, as a result of her struggle, no foreigner will ever again be made fun of for their English.
The Manikaranika actress responded to the jab on her official Instagram account by posting an old episode of Koffee With Karan. The celebrity discussion show's third season, which included Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is featured in the video. "If you had the power to grant celebrities these aspects who would you give that to -- the ability to speak English fluently," Karan Johar, the chat show presenter, asked Sonam in a rapid-fire round. The actress was initially hesitant to provide an honest response, but eventually changed it by complimenting Kangana's sense of style before providing a true response.
Kangana uploaded the video on her Instagram stories as a response. "What I learned from years of fights with the film mafia is that no outsider will ever be mocked for not speaking English...also that show is officially closed forever," the woman wrote. She stated in another account, "Even at 24, after being openly tormented, humiliated, and derided, I displayed grace, sophistication, articulation, and humility which English speaking gossipy aunts with so-called superior upbringing can never...
The interview with Anupama Chopra, in which she is asked about the same incident and whether she is harmed, is shown in the second half of the video. Kangana declares that even if she is only 24 and independent, she does feel upset. Instead of praising her accomplishments, others criticize her and draw attention to her errors. The actress continued by saying that she is working to better herself and her linguistic abilities.
On the professional front, Kangana Ranaut's next film, Tejas, is slated for an October 20, 2023 release. She is getting ready to shoot her directorial debut, Emergency, which is based on Indira Gandhi's declaration of an emergency in 1975. She will play the former prime minister in the movie, which is set for release on November 24, 2023.
