A journalist of Pakistani descent sues CNN for bigotry

 CNN News is being sued by British national Saima Muhsin, who is of Pakistani descent. He charged racial discrimination and wrongful dismissal by CNN. The British newspaper The Guardian has reported this information.



While on a job in Palestine's capital city of Jerusalem, Saima Muhsin was hurt. At that point, Saima's cameraman ran over Saima's feet, severely hurting him. Saima might never be able to work again in a typical capacity.


Saima stated that following the 2014 event, she begged CNN management to find her a another employment so she could pay for her therapy on her own.


Saima added that she had pleaded with CNN management to hire her as a news anchor. CNN informed him, "You don't look the way we're looking for it to be." Additionally, CNN ended its agreement with Saima in 2017.

 

Saima Muhsin claimed to have brought a claim before the employment tribunal. After the event that altered his life, Cnn did not offer any assistance.


"I put a lot of effort into becoming a reporter of the highest caliber on a global scale, and I loved working for CNN. I frequently put my life in danger while working for CNN because I thought they would support me, but they weren't.
